Hi chaps

Just wanted to ask (I'm guessing the answer is no) but if I have a 4kw solar PV array can I add a wind turbine to this?

Yeah, you'll just need to put an application in to your local Distribution Network Operator to tell them you will likely be exporting more than 16A per phase.

Is that all? Will I still get FIT for this? Will my inverter need changing (Samil)? Will I need planning permission?

Sorry I think I may have misunderstood the question. You will need another inverter. It would also be advisable to wire it as a completely seperate system.

It will need to be metered separately also, as the FiT rate will be different.
