Does anyone know if it's possible to have the auto hold set to on as default. At present you have to press the button every time you restart the car to switch it on. I would have assumed you can set it somewhere in settings but I can't find it, nor can I see it in the manual. Can anyone help?

Its not possible in the user accessible settings.

No idea whether its possible in the engineering menus.

I prefer having to switch it on as often i'm manoeuvering slowly at start and would have to switch it off to avoid the little jumps you get when its on. (as it is i switch it on once i'm on the main road and then switch it off when parking for the same reason)

I find very little need to use auto hold. If I am on a steep hill when I need to stop I stop using the left paddle which effectively hold the car like auto hold. Engaging auto hold on when starting up stops the useful "creep" facility when you are at a difficult junction.

Thanks everyone, the left paddle might be the thing to get used to then, not had the car long enough to get fully involved yet. Driving from Devon to London tomorrow for work so it will be a chance to get more used to it. Thanks.
