Polar Network cards should work on any public Chargemaster manufactured post anywhere in the country.
Chargemaster manufactured posts are individually configured as to which charge scheme cards are accepted, and they don't seem to know about how the roaming schemes are supposed to work (I phoned them up when my Source London card didn't work on a Source East branded post in Watford)
Some pod points (always the ones that don't charge a fee) seem to be configured to allow any RFID - even Oyster cards - which is a very user-friendly setup.
