Very interesting... It says that the battery is discharged and so i wonder how long it has been like that.
Could be an expensive lump of metal if its not working!
Very interested in it as part of a home energy storage solution. At that price its a cheap lump of batteries 50kWh (potentially)

However I do not know where mine is and whether its filled in or not.
Might just all be on computer systems.

Might be some business in stripping it down and selling the pouches? Kevin might buy a few?
Tesla shop (in Westfield mall) told me yesterday that replacement Roadster batteries are only available in the USA, not in the UK. How rubbish is that?

I can't repair my battery without invalidating the warranty... so I'm stuck until the range is so low that I can't use the car at all, at that point the warranty is worthless anyway :(

I have no doubt that I'd have been much better off if I'd never purchased the Tesla battery warranty because not only would I have repaired the battery but I would have saved £7,000 that I could have spent on the repair :rolleyes:

In reality I'll sell the car and pass on the problem to the new owner :)
