Hello all,

I am trying to find out if there are ANY ev or hybrid cars that have a spare wheel ( or space under the boot floor to put one !)
Only one have found so far is the Lexus CT. Ant others do you know of ?

MG5 and ZS both have space under the boot floor with a space saver spare wheel kit an optional accessory.

I just sling a full size tyre in a large carry-case into the boot. Wife moans a bit, but she didn't pay for the car, so tough!

Yes, I'd rather do that than have to rely on a can of gunk !

The Leaf has an option for a so-called 'space saver' wheel to be suspended below boot floor. That of course limits you to driving for 50 miles or less at speeds below 50mph and doesn't offer any provision for carrying the removed wheel (which wouldn't fit into cradle).

A Leaf boot is pretty deep so I've modified mine to have a false floor above a full sized spare. Same space also has room for jack, wheelbrace & charging leads.

There's space beneath the removable floor in the e-Golf for a space saver wheel.
There's also the same space in an ID3 when ordering a car with the removable floor, Family or above I believe.
I didn't. The boot is deeper but I don't have space for a spare unless I make a floor and a way to fit it at the right height.

At least the Ioniq has a regular 16" tyre size, so if you find a garage they will almost certainly have a replacement tyre available at good cost. No specialist tyre needed.
