Last week we noticed that a small cut had developed on the leather of the front passenger seat. It is about 1cm long and on the side of the seat against which your left leg would rub.
We are totally convinced it must be a defect rather than damage. It is very clean edged as if cut by a very sharp blade yet it appears to us to not be in a position where it could be done by accident as it is not in a location where any pressure is exerted. Also, the direction is exactly front to back suggesting a defect.
It isn't stopping us using the car so Vauxhall have ordered new parts and a repair/replacement will be done in due course but again we are looking at about 2 weeks to get spares.
