I was with a friend in the US recently and it became very obvious a lot of the cars over there have 'Dash mats' fitted. As I am not overly keen on the rather cheap looking plastic dash of my Leaf I was thinking maybe I could do the same and add a fitted dash cover??

Does anyone have a Leaf with one fitted? and if so do they look ok? or do they look cheap?

I have never seen any in the UK so not sure if anyone sells them here or not?

Hmm. Someone I know had those on a car and he said that it was a nightmare. Somehow he managed to spill some coffee on the dash and the smell of gone off milk drove him crazy for weeks and he could never get the stain off no matter how he tried!

There's a massive modding/personalisation scene in Japan. I'm sure they'll have something you want for a RHD Leaf.

Assuming your Japanese is up to scratch!

Japan. Never thought of looking there The idea was a simple removable and washable mat. Spilt milk in any car is a complete nightmare I've done this myself and ended up replacing the carpet and soft sound dedening mats. It took months to get rid of the smell.
