Pure Planet have just lowered there prices and are now coming out cheaper for my postcode area then bulb! Great thing about these green energy companies is that you can keep switching to the cheaper deal as no leavers fee attached!
Deals are hard to come by right now. I’ve just left a fixed rate where I was paying 10.2p/kWh, and attempted to move to Usio for about a penny/kWh more, until they went bust during the transfer! The energy regulator appointed First Utility to take over on an emergency 6 month tariff, and this was at a “competitive” (there words, not mine!) 17p/kWh!!!I'm now out of contract, so looking around for the best deals.
OVO and it is 28pence daily+17.78pence/kWh!
Outfox is 25pence daily +11.44pence/kWh.
Pure planet is 28pence daily + 12.5pence/kWh.
Has anyone switched to better deals? My last deal was a daily standing charge of 13pence+14pence/kWh, so I'm not keen with whats on offer. Annual usage is currently around 2500kWh.
I don't feel as bad now as that is a serious bill. Still at least you're not paying more tax to fuel an ICE.Deals are hard to come by right now. With two EVs to charge plus an all-electric house I reckon I’ll probably use 18,000kWh minimum over the next 12 months (with nearly 1/3 of that being for the EVs), so the hike in rates is going to be a significant increase!
I was on this, this week due to Bulb's prices going up.I'm now out of contract, so looking around for the best deals.
