Being a tall driver, I've always had difficulty reaching the far side of the screen, whilst driving, to select items from the screen menus or to close windows down.
This screen mount kit from Matt onTechForum solves that problem completely. Lowering the screen by about 4 cm and allowing the far side of the screen to rotate about 10cm towards me, meaning I can easily reach the far side of the screen without having to lean forward.
Its not cheap at about £200 but worth every penny in being able to reach the controls comfortably and also being able to get rid of sun glare from the screen.

Any video of how to install it?

Is it easy to replace to factory conditions? I'd imagine a modification like that might hurt resale value?

I'm always very wary of modifications like this, most of the more unusual ones I've seen I haven't been a fan of and when it comes time to sell it, finding someone else who shares your particular taste might be hard to find.

(The glossy carbon fiber effect dashboard that Matt from the Tech Forum has installed in place of the wood for example, is probably horrible in the sun and not to my taste at all)

I've wrapped the glossy center console and replaced the lights in the boot so they're much better/brighter. But I'm still aware some people may want the car exactly as new.

Very easy, as long as you keep the 2 screws, shroud and temperature sensor mount. in about 20 minutes.
That's part of the attraction of it and also that it work for the model Y which I may end up getting when I find its getting too difficult to get into the Model 3.

I realised, this morning whilst waiting for my wife to finish work, that I no longer get back pain whilst playing chess, surfing the internet, or route planning.
I used to get bad muscle pain around the left kidney area whilst leaning forward to do the above. (Anybody else suffer this?) But now, its so easy and relaxing.
