Just noticed that Tesla failed to extract its monthly lease payment from my current account in June. Never any shortage of funds or notification of a failed transaction...

They have been a bit variable in terms of what day they take the payment, but they have not missed a month since we got the car in October 2016, and we've still got a few months to go before the end of the 4 year deal.

Anyone else noticed this as well ?

I appreciate that they are busy end of quarter, but a fixed direct debit really shouldn't be THAT difficult !

They haven't suspended payments due to CV-19 have they? The process is you normally request it rather than a blanket holiday for everyone but who knows with Tesla.

Possibly, although I didn’t ask for a holiday, and they took the cash in April and May. And getting every penny for the end of quarter would seem sensible from Tesla’s point if view.

I suspect incompetence is the more likely explanation....
