That’s certainly an interesting development, and the article mentions things that I didn’t previously know. Good to hear that the system will learn from driver wiper use as well.

Wonder how it learns from the neural net? I have a couple ideas which it could also learn.
1. If there is no one at the passenger seat, switch off the seat heating
2. If the driver always set a particular temperature, next time if it gets too hot or cold, the aircon switches on. Can be overidden and stays overidden until next time you get in the car.
3. Switch off the music when in park and you open the door. It always feels as if the music is on when you leave the car.

Interesting, I don't find the wipers that bad, and this is comparing to my 2016 Volkswagen Golf R.
The same goes for the adaptive cruise control.
I would say they are about 10-20% worse compared to the Golf R, so hopefully Tesla can get it right in upcoming firmware upgrades.
