I notice some Tesla specific tariffs on the octopus site

specifically this one shows up for my postcode..
Tesla Incoming October 2019 v1
current
Electricity
Unit rate:
8.00 p/kWh
Standing charge:
0.00 p/day

I suspect its not what it seems. As it would be a good deal for anyone to have regardless of if they own a Tesla or not.

I'm Guessing i'm missing something? Anyone have this?

You need solar, powerwall 2 and a Tesla car.... so, once you have invested in all that, you can benefit from cheap 'leccy.

basically you buy a powerwall that will give you 0 benefit while on that tariff, other than the fact that gives you access to the tariff itself.
basically imagine it as a "unlimited battery" as your import/export price is the same, the grid is basically your battery. and your total cost is always total usage minus total production times 11p (or 8 if you have a tesla)
