Very interesting if the price is lower (with the different batteries and lower range). Might be better build quality too?

The price will not reflect the difference in cost of production, but the maximum compatible with offloading any excess supply.

Would have thought the price would be the same with any reduction in costs going into Telsa’s pockets as not to undervalue current US built cars if nothing else.
Unless of course they bring out an actual new cheaper version.

There's a possibility that the price may reduce if the UK has a more favorable trade deal with China than the US. The reason why S and X were dismantled and reassembled in the EU is to avoid some of the import taxes.
I'd also hope that the build quality would be better, if nothing more, the factory is newer and I'm sure has improvements over the 1960's Fremont factory.
