By that you mean use my current card until March 1st?
Sorry my post was badly worded.

It's going to cost you no more than £10 between now and 28th February to use your current BP Pulse Card. They might bill your next cycle, but they probably won't, so up until then it will be likely free.

From 1st March, you'll probably be better off getting a BP Pulse Membership at £7.85 per month via the BP Pulse App. Your first month's Membership is free, and then the following months you pay the £7.85 per month but they give you a £9 credit for the first five months, so you have the option for a charge if you need one.

This way, you'd keep your free charging at work with the BP Pulse network. I think that's correct anyway!

You also may as well get the elmoCharge Card with the £100 Credit on it, as it's free, and even if you use it once it's one free charge you've got.

They confirmed adding only £50
This has now been revised to be the full £150 referral discount. Thanks again!
Thanks! Emailed to add it retrospectively; will be applied from 2nd invoice, which is fine.

MG5. Need it for just 2-3 months before VW ID3 company car arrives.
It arrived earlier this week. Car is basically brand new (I had to peel off the plastic over on the screen etc.)

Happy with it so far and it will be fine for the 2-3 months only that we will need it.

The business/company car billing is so straight forward it baffles me why Onto took so long to offer it and, even then, Onto put you through separate paperwork process with initial admin fees.

So both ONTO and Elmo have dropped the BP Pulse Card. Seems they’re falling out of favour with fleet providers because of their poor service.

I wonder how much less usage their network will now see.

Though I suspect on Elmo's side, they never advertised it as "fully inclusive" as Onto did. Instead, it was £10 for the BP Pulse card, but it's easily costing Elmo 8x this for some people (such as me - 800 miles a month at an average of 3.2mpkWh, so roughly 250kWh of charge a month needed, at 40p/kWh is £100). Not sure how much longer they could sustain that much of a hit each month. Granted they probably don't pay those rates but still, even at half of that it's not a sustainable loss.

Correct.
First registerred in September 2022, so must have been sat somewhere unused for a while.
Cool - I'm close to pulling the trigger on one. It's a gamble though as if my ID.4 takes more than 6 months then it'll cost more than keeping my current car, servicing it, MOTing it, new tyres, etc. Less than 6 months saves me a few quid overall.
Also need to get my car washed and on Motorway.com to see how much I can get for it.

I've got my MG5 on order with Elmo and have the registration number - it was registered April 2022 - so will be interesting to see if it's a brand new one or not.
I may or may not be going ahead with it, my car is currently on auction with CarWow so a lot depends on the outcome of that.

Very much doubt it's new; if registered last April that's potentially 10 other people have had it before you :D

It's 2 month minimum now - so not quite that many.
I wouldn't expect it to be new, but ohit1 seemed to get a brand new one registered Sept last year.
We will be returning ours at the end of the 2 month minimum, which is end of March. Just in case you want that one :)

MG5 is here, 5000 miles on the clock but is in good nick. Inspection didn't reveal any issues although I've noticed a couple of very minor chips/scratches I think I'm going to report just incase.

Did you get a Type 2 cable with your MG5? The delivery guy opened a bag and said here's your charging cable, but it's a 3pin granny cable. I'm sure it'll be sorted easily enough, but might have to replan our weekend slightly.

I would email Elmo right away, as part of their collection/delivery you agree that the cables are present. If you tell them now they should be able to get you one for tomorrow if you explain it will upset your weekend plans.

You should definitely get a Type 2 normal charge cable.

Also worth reporting the chips etc, they're likely normal wear and tear.

Thanks - I've spoken to them and they're going to be sending one out - unfortunately no guarantees for the weekend.
If I need to rapid charge on the way home then so be it, but when I'm somewhere for the day with destination chargers it would be nice to use them!

Took the MG5 out for the first time. Absolutely lovely to drive.
I went over it today and have noticed a very gentle but very large scratch on the bonnet which was missed during the inspection. Honestly I should have got up close to it then but it should be about visible in their photos. Will get some decent photos of it in the morning and email them. I'm not fussed enough to need it to be fixed but absolutely don't want to be charged for it.
Not sure how it wasn't caught before?
