Finally arrived 15 miles south of Oban, having taken OH ICE diesel. Playing spot the charger and seen a few; £110 in fuel so far, and yes, the 600 mile range is way better than my 240, BUT (smiles smugly) parked up next to us is an ID3 couldn't resist pointing out to hubby that it had somehow made it to the badlands of the Scottish Highlands 😀 passed chargers in Arrochar and Lochgilphead, loads in Glasgow however, not sure I would be brave enough to take Eric to our next destination in Skye, especially as Calmac have helpfully cancelled our ferry so have to go the long way round.....

You made a wise decision taking ICE. The chargers might work, or they might be broken, have comms issues or just have the generic SWARCO rot that means they should work but won't, unless you've remembered to bring a Tesco Clubcard or your work ID card. :ROFLMAO:

Turns out ID3 owner had driven from Edinburgh. First long trip with wife and 2 small kids. In his words he was "bricking it" having to go 15 miles the wrong way to a rapid charger in Oban with 30 moles of range. We didn't pass him later on a flat bed, so hopefully he made it 🙏
