A route which I use regularly often has a build up of traffic at certain times of the day resulting in jams which can add quite a bit of time to my journey. The SatNav on my previous car used to show this congestion on the map but the e-Niro SatNav has never recognised it at all. I have the 'Display Traffic flow' set to 'on' in the quick menu but I have never seen any indication of any traffic jams on the map (though clicking on Traffic shows issues from Kia Live in the area). Have I missed some setting or is this just the way it is? Do I need to be following a SatNav guided route for traffic jams to show on the map? Do the delays have to be sufficiently severe for them to appear?
In a previous car I also used to be able to set an automatic re-route around any delays. It would inform me when it was altering the route so that I could override it but would invariably react to changing traffic conditions accurately. Is this possible with the e-Niro?
I know that I could use a navigation app on Apple CarPlay but would prefer to avoid plugging in the phone all the time (and discussions on this forum indicate that no wireless dongle has rock solid reliability).
