Hi All,

I know there's been a few mentions of this in other threads.
I approached Renault today as I've realised that I hate the look of my indoor.

The dealership had acknowledged that Renault are showing old trim options and styles both in their brochures and on line.

I've had the car for 7 days and I'm contemplating handing it back.
I would never have ordered it if I was shown what I would have got.

However they're saying I can't hand a new car back, but can't I quote the sales of goods act? As the interior is nothing like I ordered or was expecting.

Welcome to Speak EV.

Probably no more than you've googled already, but here's some light festive reading (!?)...

Often I've seen that if you have a car on finance, the finance company can be your best route for any real disputes, if the dealership/car company won't sort it.

Thank you very much.
This makes good reading.

At least I have an idea of how to approach the issue and what to expect.

I think you may be right with the finance company as theoretically I still have 7 days to change my mind on the finance ☺

Good luck with it, hopefully it'll be resolved. Also hopefully people with more Renault / ZOE specific experience can chime in with some help too, it's a bit quieter just now though, as Christmas approaches. :)

pardon my ignorance, but how does the 14 day cooling off on the finance work? Does that not apply from when you sign the agreement rather than when you collect the car?

I signed the finance agreement when I collected the car last week.

I was informed then that I had 14 days cooling off period.
What will be interesting is that I can cancel the finance but Renault are saying I can't refuse the car......

What does the interior you've had delivered actually look like?

Many thanks for the response.

I've just put everything in writing to the dealer, which we discussed earlier.

Just so we all agree what was discussed and agreed, and so it is writing.

I'll approach the finance company and Renault on Monday and see where we go...

Holy crap....your journey with a new car has been a lot worse than mine.

However, you've just made me realise my ECO button and cruise are on the passenger side also....

Actually the wife and I are just looking at images of interiors now.

It seems the images with their buttons on the right of the gear selector are doctored.
The dashboard information is a mirror image of what we get.

However left hand drive models have the hand brake and centre media system in the same place as the right hand drive but the cigarette lighter is opposite!

All very confusing......

The Renault brochure shows the switches of the right of the selector.....
