No, that's bonkers, they should be paying US and I really can't see why the "chargers" are so expensive when a PV inverter isn't anywhere near as expensive.

Frankly Nissan should be starting its own energy company to sell domestic consumers electricity (or buy an existing supplier) and doing all this. Vertical integration and all that. Maybe Tesla will give it a spin.

So it should finally be here next year, anyone fancy spending 9k to see how it works out though? Also what will be the vehicle manufacturers view on how this affects the battery warranty?

I think so... it's only mildly more expensive than tesla powerwall but I should be able to use and store 20kwh (double) and output up 6kw from what I've heard...
