Ah thank you, will give them a call, might help bring an Ampera inside our budget to replace the Prius.

It's all moot now anyway. Can't persuade MrsG to like the Ampera (or the Volt). And as it will be her daily drive she has the casting vote.

MrsG's mileage varies, sometimes it's local but also does round trips in a day of 150+ miles, so a pure EV isn't practical for her. I work from home so my Leaf suits me. And we have family in Devon and North Wales so a couple of times a year we have to make longer journeys of 250+ miles each way.

So an Ampera fits our needs perfectly as the second car. Will see if I can get her into one at the weekend.
