Bit of flooding in York this week, and rivers still high. It made me think. A couple of times in previous years I've had to drive through water about a foot deep. Wonder if anyone's thought about what getting into flood water would do to a Leaf, what with the batteries being right down under the floor, and electricity and water not playing well together?

Yes I have thought about it and done a sharp U turn as a result. When last discussed I was told the LEAF has a reasonable wading depth but I for one would not like to test that with my own vehicle. Hopefully the seal on the battery pack is intact.

Well, the previous occasions have been in an ICE car, and that got a bit scary on one occasion.
