What a bugger of a day. Both EVs charged to 100%, hot water at 100%, air con running all day for free, washing done, battery system at 100%, and we are STILL giving away energy to the grid for free, at 19:00:

Pity about the £0.31 import last night - should have switched the system over to auto mode, rather than imported 1.7 kWh during the cheap rate period. . .

I'm still a while off getting my car, but we go to Chester Zoo once a month or so. It's 40 miles each way, so absolutely no range anxiety. But we can charge at the zoo for £3 flat fee and the chargers are right next to the entrance. I don't know if I'd pay £3 to get some extra charge and park at the front - but then worry about blocking a charger for somebody who actually needs it.
