I will be soon an EV owner, and I was thinking about installing a charger on the side of my garage. The garage is detached, but the problem is that in front of the garage, I have got a parked car that I am not willing to move every time I will be charging. What is the maximum length of the charging cable with an untethered charger? Tia.

15 Meters is the longest I have seen in terms of easily available to buy Type 2 cables. I have no doubt that you could get them made up longer if you needed such a thing but that would be getting increasingly expensive, heavy, large and inconvenient.
