I am looking for replacements because like yours they are going white under the clear covering layer. I had a look on eBay and they seem to be around £20 a set. Although I am searching for ones for the Ampera there is still the caveat that you need to check the diameter of the clips. I had thought of just trying to get chrome & black coloured badges/stickers and either try to fit them to the existing ones or have a go at printing some caps too in plain black with a flat face.
Looks like I need to print some. They'll be black, flat ended, and to make removal easier I'd put a circular hole through the middle, made of a donut shape removed from the plastic. You'll see 5 small holes in the face, to line up with the spokes, and these will all meet up inside. So you can poke some wire through to remove.
I bought a set from Lookers on eBay - they cost approx. £30. Lookers were selling off a load of Ampera spares earlier this year - I also picked up a spare reflector for the boot lid and a new rubber extension piece that fits under the front bumper.
Alright guys, The Mtec experience was far from satisfactory, on my way to work on thursday I could barely see the white lines on the road, it was way too dangerous so I went online and I did a bit of research on the LED systems and I got this, received it this morning ( PRIME BABE ) :love...
Update 15/2/18: Local mechanic dropped it back lunchtime and presented me with a bill for £60 (not vat registered) for fitting!! Happy days. He said it's a pretty easy job, not really different to and ICE hatch and only took him 1 1/2 hrs.
So total Bill for the self sourcing replacement was...

Every so often, I have another search to see if there's a good roof rack for the Ampera yet. This time round I found this:
So..clear implication that...
I have just noticed that on the car's last full annual service there was no charge for oil.
On my much older MGF I change the oil every year - clearly this is not the case with the Amp.
If I choose to change the oil myself, how difficult is it? Is there a get-at-able sump plug?
