Hi everyone.

If you had a choice between a Rolec and a Project EV charger for a home install, what would you go for?
Just for context, there’s an installer I trust and they’re only approved for these two manufacturers.

I'd go for the Poject EV charger.

I'd go for the cheapest with the longest warranty personally.

If you had a choice between a Rolec and a Project EV charger for a home install, what would you go for?
Just for context, there’s an installer I trust and they’re only approved for these two manufacturers.

It depends a bit on your EV. I'm not convinced there is any user benefit to having a "smart" charger if the car itself can do the scheduling and/or charging rate control.

Will your installation count as standard? Are there long cables runs, digging, difficult access. No you like ugly externally clipped cable runs?
