I've yet to have mine done, but I'd guess about £200, give or take £30/£40 or so.Does anyone know what the ballpark cost would be to tint all the windows excluding the windscreen? I know it will vary from business to business and area but just a rough idea works be good.
I think that's pretty reasonable, thanksI've yet to have mine done, but I'd guess about £200, give or take £30/£40 or so.
I had the rear done for £142; very happy with the result. Didn't ask for a quote for the front sides.I've now had 3 quotes come in, all around the 150 mark for the back end, I got a quote of an additional 60 for the front side windows but that came with a not that if the front sides are tinted then it would be illegal. I've looked online and sent them a screenshot of the .gov site to ask for clarification.
Yeah, all my quotes have been similar figures, I did ask about the front and sent the image from .gov and got this reply...I had the rear done for £142; very happy with the result. Didn't ask for a quote for the front sides.
In the UK, You're not legally allowed to have more tint on the drivers and passengers windows than the front windscreen for safety purposes. Rear windows are fair game, and they can be 100% tinted if you want, because it's no worse than driving a van.Does anyone know what the ballpark cost would be to tint all the windows excluding the windscreen? Wrong, your allowed a tints that lets in 75% light on front sides, windscreen can be clear (which it is in the case of the MG). You can't limo tint front side windows even though some cars come with clearly suspect dark tints from the factory. In the UK, You're not legally allowed to have more tint on the drivers and passengers windows than the front windscreen for safety purposes.
