Windshield and motor warranty
Hello forum, I'd welcome and appreciate feedback on these 2 questions:
1. What is the true cost of replacing and recalibrating sensors on a ID4 Pro S AWD windshield outside of the dealership? I am being told it is at least $1300. Any idea about the glass roof?
2.Thoughts on whether or not to get the extended warranty on the ID 4 (8 year motor, 8 year battery for $3200 vs the factory warranty which is 4 year motor 8 year battery). That is, how likely are these motors to fail within 8 years, does anyone have a good estimate, since the cars have not been out long enough to actually know?
