Just got my new Pixel phone and wireless Android Auto does not seem to work with the ZE50. Shame, as it's a nice option. I wonder if there may be an update later on, or is the hardware not capable ?

Does the phone charge on any other wireless charger?
@Mickeypeach is talking about running Android Auto on the Zoe's touchscreen without physically plugging his phone into the car with a USB lead, not just charging it on the pad.

AFAIK, it needs a phone running Android 11 (which the Pixel does) and a compatible car (which I'm not sure the Zoe is).

To try, follow the instructions on the phone, found at
  1. Settings
  2. Bluetooth & device connection
  3. Android Auto
  4. Connect a car
  5. Connect using wireless Android Auto
I'll be trying this myself later today.

There are NO cars for sale in Europe with Wireless Android Auto at present. The Zoe does not have WiFi so will never be upgraded to support it. At present BMW do not support Android Auto at all!

The link below is for European cars and aftermarket stereo systems. Only a few of the latter support wireless, with - * indicates wireless compatibility. There is talk Ford will add support, but it may be North America only.
