Well, Gridserve were adament it was possible when they launched this whole upgrade.

It doesn't seem to be - it seems to be reliant on a software upgrade 'due in a few months'. That'll be a year or two then...
If anyone seems deserving of faith when it comes to timelines, Gridserve does - they've been pretty spot-on with all their timelines so far. The information I heard at EVs in the Park was Gridserve already has the software update they need to make dual-charging possible, they are just relentlessly testing it before the issue the update.

One connector on a multi-charger site is useless.
Agreed, and my first reply to this thread preferred much bigger multi charger sites, meaning more than two chargers.
However I don't see Gridserve's current upgrade phase as anything but a short term stopgap. They are promising 50 sites with 6-12 chargers each, starting in a few months, and 100 electric forecourts like the one at Braintree.
For those of us trying to plan long journeys, that's what's needed.
