For Anyone Interested I have added the service sheets for the 1st Service below

I took my car back to the supplying dealer as all the local dealers wanted £160!! For the 1st Service, Supplying Dealer said it should be £88 so much happier for a basic inspection and update service.

Took 2 hours total, with some software updates

They said they check and record Battery SOH at each service so there is a comprehensive record of it, Very pleased to see after over 15k miles and many hundreds of hours supplying the house by V2L that it is still reporting 100% SOH

Also good to see after this mileage all 4 tyres still having 6mm tread and even wear, so no need to rotate really shows how well set up the car is.

They also add another yeas AA cover to the car and provide a certificate to show its been done, no stamp as there is no service book as its all digital, but check forms supplied,

So here you go shows what they do at each service

My supplying dealer for my gen1 MG ZS service didnt clean or hoover the car, didnt do any software updates (despite me specifically asking for it, same version numbers everywhere, trip computer unaffected and radio favourites still saved) and it was only in the garage for 40minutes (they left the ignition on with the dashcam running...). Bonnet was opened for a full 4minutes.

Unfortunately with MG two garages can be 1 mile apart distance wise but a million miles apart quality wise.

MG UK Seemingly uninterested (seeing as I got the 'piece of mind' bundle for free they technically paid for it).

Yep, We have had awful service from the MG Dealers around Derby and Nottingham, hence the Long trip back to the supplying dealer in South Shields, they provided good service when buying and also on the recall etc, so I am happy to drive a distance and put the service work their way, its not just MG we had the same issues with local Hyundai dealers and kept returning to the supplying dealer DSG in Morecambe as they provided great service

Our first kona was 100% at 77k miles as the degredation is hidden in the buffer on the Hyundai / Kia, so looks like MG are doing it the same way. Rather have it that way eat the buffer first rather than straight onto the main range. Our Zoe 41Kw was delivered with 104% SOH... So they add a bit extra and go from there.
