Hi All, I've owned a Golf GTE for 6 months now, its a 2016 model with 49,000 miles. I'm the second owner after the 1st owner traded it in. The first 6 months of ownership have been a good experience however in the last few weeks i've started to develop a metallic rattle when changing up gears from 2-3 and 3-4 in particular. It doesn't last long, a few seconds and stops after the change up. You can hear it easily with the window down but not when up and it tends to happen on an incline with slight acceleration rather than foot down - although that can just make the noise for a shorter duration (quicker change up). I should say this only happens when i'm running on petrol not on electric.
