I have a 2 month old Tekna 6.6 with 3000 miles. Last night, at Manchester GMEX / Central NCP, charging stopped prematurely after 90 minutes. When I came back to the car and 'started' it, the EV System Warning Light and Yellow Exclamation mark was on. The warning lights cleared after restarting the car (though it took a few attempts to get it back to 'Ready to Drive'), and fortunately I'd already gained enough charge to just make it home (though I saw my first low battery warning).
I've read the following DTC error codes using Leaf Spy: B2820 (Quick Charger), B29C1 (EVSE), P3172, P3170, P316C (PD Module System). These correspond to a US Technical Service Bulletin: My Nissan Leaf Forum • View topic - EV System Warning Light
I have a 200 mile round trip to make this afternoon (with an overnight stop to charge at a ZCW hotel). Happily, my Leaf appears to have charged to 100% overnight at home so I'm hoping the problem in Manchester was a charger fault. However, it's left me a little nervous as the Leaf is my only car and I regularly venture beyond its range. As a precaution, I'm going to take a wrench to disconnect the battery terminal, as it may need a hard reset if this happens again.
I've tried to speak to someone knowledgable at my dealer without success, so I was just wondering if anyone else has come up against this issue?
