Half the reason I'm buying a Tesla is to avoid phoning people - and is there a number for Tesla? Can't see one.
I've got a good offer from Motorway but overlapping cars is awkward as would be getting to Bluewater.

I'm in a position at the moment where I make everything more complicated in my head - I'm buying the Tesla to give me something to look forward to after a very very difficult couple of years so was hoping it would be simple(ish)

Nope - but there's buses from the nearest station (Greenhithe) - but never underestimate my ability to over-complicate things in my head

But in the meantime I had a callback from Tesla and they've added the Trade In option to my account. Alll I've got to do now is wash off all the bloody sahara dust then take photos!

 

Good luck. I imagine that the trade in offer will be £4k less than motorway and £1-2k less than webuyanycar. So I would probably just chose one of those and pay a friend/catch a taxi to your tesla delivery centre.

My ID.3 trade-in was £300 less with Tesla than Carwow (which was the highest of the various selling sites). I chose the simple route to just do the exchange to reduce the hassle.

 

The Tesla offer is firm though - the Motorway offer is dependent on dealers "bidding" for the the car then coming round and prodding at it - and I'm the world's least assertive negotiator

 

I used Motorway last week and it was effortless. Took photos and car went live 2 days later and sold with an offer of 2k more than I thought I would get. Payment was sent 3 days later and a driver picked up the car with nothing more than a glance around it.

If Tesla 2 or 3 hundred less, you might value the convenience

If they’re 2 or 3 grand less……that might take a bit of focusing..

 

Car Wow got the best price when we sold our ID3 as WBAC and Motorway prices were really poor in fact .

Tesla’s trade in price was only a cpl hundred less than those two and like what Kansalis said if we had not got offered over 2k more from Carwow we would of just used the Tesla trade as it was a lot less hassle for a cpl of hundred pounds.

 

How long does it take Tesla to review the p/ex? I sent the photos on Thursday - just my usual worrying cos it's only 10 days 'till new Tesa Day,,,,

 

It took just over a week for my quote to come back. You could try asking them on chat to see if they can prioritise it somehow, as your collection date is so close.

 

They dont seem to look at them over the weekend, my guess would be Tuesday
