The Kia 7 year warranty is great but the 1 year RAC is a little mean IMO.
Nissan provide 3 years recovery, automatically renewed if car is serviced by one of their franchised dealers. Strange their EV cover is provided by AXA whereas their ICE cars are under the RAC.

Perhaps Kia should adopt recovery renewal with annual servicing.

Obviously in reality whatever is offered should never actually be required in anger so all a bit academic really, just like car insurance I buy it because it is a legal obligation even though year after year complete strangers benefit from what I pay.

@Winston69 - most new cars usually only offer AA or RAC for the 1st year of their warranty - Audi - VW, and then it's a basic - roadside - recovery package .
the Nissan 3 year quoted is above industry standard .
Kia obviously have their 7 year warranty ,
If leasing it may be worth considering with full maintenance as you'd get breakdown for the whole period of the lease rather than just the manufacturers period .

It would be called 'Kia can't be bothered to assist' if it didn't.
Other than an accident, getting flatbedded is the only reason it's required!
