After having tried it 2 or 3 times before the RAC guy arrived with no success, it was OK when he tried it!
He followed me home in case there were any more problems but there weren’t any.

I’ll check with a dealership on Monday re the recall.

I believe this relates to Peugeot recall: MF9 ( issued around June 2023 )
as others have said it will be free if done by a Peugeot Dealership or Peugeot Approved service centre.
our E2008 was updated back in July and we have had no issues since.
