I have been given a diesel Peugeot 3008. Costing me 80 a week to run where as my ec4 was costing my £3 a week to run so it's causing me money issues.
Then you can ask for the difference in costs as consequential losses are part of it.

A price reduction wouldn't be applicable because the car does not drive. So it would either have to be a replacement or refund. Whay is a reasonable amount of time to fix the car?
In these times I have no idea. If the dealer have said they don't know how to fix it then you could go for full rejection now as you want to cut your losses basically. Or ask them for an EV as alternative then you can wait it out as the cost impact won't be so great. They are going to have to learn to fix these things and racking up miles on their EV is better than racking up miles on your own. With car supply being so crap it's hard to know what is the right thing to do.

I'd probably go back to them and say it's too expensive to keep having a fossil car so they need to pay the extra fuel costs or provide an EV alternative if they can't fix yours. It might be months. See how they respond. If they do give you an EV then you can wait it out.
