Heating of wing mirrors and back/rear mirrors are connected and work simultaneously when you press/turn on the rear heating. Not sure why this isn't designated on the button as well, but now you know it works.

 

An interesting question. I was musing only this morning that I would happily trade-in the heated steering wheel on my Kona Premium for electrically heated mirrors. It seems inconceivable to me that this basic safety feature should be omitted, whilst all sorts of other stuff of dubious value safety-wise is apparently mandatory!

 

All Kona's have heated wing mirrors.

 

I don't believe so. There is no mention at all in my owners' manual of the mirrors being heated, even on an "(if fitted)" basis - though all the other Ultimate features are shown and so flagged. Besides, my mirrors remained encrusted with ice this morning, even after 15 minute of "warm-up" time. So far as I can tell, therefore, heated mirrors were not fitted to Facelifted Kona's. Which strikes me as a seriously stupid spec decision. The heated steering wheel is nice, but a rather unnecessary luxury. Heated mirrors, in my view, are a necessity.

 

I have a face-lifted Ultimate and I have heated mirrors, if you don't I suggest you get your car checked. All Kona's have heated mirrors - virtually every car on sale for the last 15 years has them fitted 🤷🏼‍♂️

 

Heated door mirrors

Saw this on Facebook - not mentioned in the manual or spec on the Hyundai website - when the rear-window demister is on, the door mirrors are also heated.

Mine is one of the first Konas from 2018 (Premium, not the most expensive one). It has heated mirrors so I think all have it. Activated by pressing rear window heating.
