I’m on intelligent, I’ve got a compatible car but not charger so as long as you have one you should be fine they only need to control one as far as I’m aware.

it works very well and regularly get extra cheap rate.
You always get the 23:30 to 5:30 cheap rate and if they set a charge schedule outside those hours you get them at the cheap rate too I’ve recently had over 8hrs of cheap rate in total.

 

It works with VW's (excluding ID range for now), do the Seats use the same back-end?

 

It is “car or charging point” you don’t need both.

Basically you need something Octopus can tell to turn on/off, it doesn’t matter what!

 

In theory you need either/or. However, do Octopus require proof of an EV to get onto one of their go/intelligent solutions? Don't know if a PHEV qualifies. Worth a punt though
