It was the demonstrator model, with about a typical month mileage, bought at the end of the quarter This reduced the price by a substantial amount. Technically second hand , but who cares

 

You will learn to enjoy it! The ease of use and the very cheap motoring cannot be beaten and it seems that both the ZS and MG5 are solid performers with few having problems. James Coates of YouTube fame bought a 2020 ZS with 240k miles on the clock. It had been used as a taxi and needed some repairs to seats and an engine mount where the rubber part of what I describe as a metalastic component had failed. Folks can laugh at us with our budget Chinese cars but our bank balances laugh louder! I am on my 2nd, it was serviced in 90 minutes 2 weeks ago whilst I waited!

it’s a great car and I’ve had mine for a few months now. However it is a budget EV and doesn’t have some luxury things like a HUD.

My previous car had a HUD and i always saw it as a bit of a gimmick and don’t really miss it to be honest.

There is only one reversing light. The other side is the rear fog light.

 

After a deal of heart searching I bought the Trophy. As an EV it is quiet when driving. An immediate upgrade would be to have a simple head-up display, giving speed and range.
Secondly at the rear there are a large number of what appears to be white lights. Most are pointless. The indicators are a simple upright light, one to each side, leaving three lights, forming the face as what? Useless, pointless?
Thereappear to be two white reversing lights, except on mine only one works. My local garage confirmed only one reversing light.
Silly niggles that are annoying
