Lexus UX300e charging schedule not working

You need to make sure "Charge Now" is "OFF" otherwise it will start charging straight away. Mine works fine set for a 7 hr charge starting at midnight on economy 7.
If not that, I expect some sort of conflict with your charger scheduling. I may be somewhat confused by your post as my dumb charger is just on all the time and the scheduling is done by the car.
Nice to see at least one other Lexus UX300e driver. I've had mine for 9 months and know my way round the car fairly well, so any other questions, post here.

Yes, I can't say this is clear in the user guide.
A couple of important points.
You must set "charge now" to off.
I never used "Depature" as I never set off from home at a fixed time. My understanding for departure is, you want to set the car to start charging to give you a full battery at set departure time and optionally to set climate control to pre-condition the car.

So, to set a charging schedule to match off peak period - its Vehicle Settings - Charging Settings - Charging Schedule.
Select - Scheduled Events - then +Add - then select "Start" for the charging mode (not Departure)
Then set the time you want charging to start
You must then ensure that the days you want to charge on are set to "ON"
Select Save to store Settings.
The big flaw for some is that you can only set a start time (unless you select Departure mode when you can only set an end time) so you can, if your battery is low, overrun the off peak period. With 7 hrs off peak at 7kW, that rarely affects me.
Once you've set this, it is very important that if you use a granny charger or other AC supply, you have to set "Charge Now" to on.
It's an imperfect system.
The Leaf was much better where you could set start and end times.

My charger has no way to set the charging times. The progeamming is done from inside the car using buttons on the steering wheel. Everything I have said refers to the Lexus UX300e. The user guide may well be the best place to look for more detail of the charge settings.

Lexus Link is the only app I have and I have never seen a way to set charging schedules from the app. Do you have a different app?
The most useful thing in the app that I have found is to start climate control remotely, and it work consistently for me.
Let me know how you get on with setting the charging schedule.

Thanks re accessing the charging schedule from the app. I had seen this before but not realised you could edit the schedule using the app.
As for the schedule working, my charger is completely dumb ( I like it that way) and once I have set a schedule from the car it all works fine. Unfortunately if you set your clock for daylight saving, you need to chage the schedule to match the E7 times. I hope you get it working but agree its fiddly. I preferred the Leaf for setting a charging schedule.
Apart from that, how are you getting on with the car?

A note here to present my recent experience with problems with the charging schedule.
My car is set to start charging at 11.00 pm every night when the E7 night rate kicks in. Normally, I plug in after my last journey and wake up to 100% charge.
A couple of days ago I forgot to plug in before 11.00pm and did so at about half past. Next morning, I still had 13%
I guess once the car reaches the set charging time it sends a signal to the charger which checks if the charger is plugged in. If it isn't, clearly nothing happens. If you plug in late, like I did, the charger never receives the "handshake" at 11.00pm and so charging is not initiated.
I assume something like this happens when you set a timer on the charger itself and in the car.
This may apply to other cars but I never had that experience in the Nissan Leaf.
