Lifespan, buying used e-nv200

Hi all,

I'm considering buying a 2015 e-nv200 to use as a campervan, and am trying to understand what its lifespan is. I'll put here what I've gathered so far and it would be so helpful if you can let me know if that's correct or if there's stuff I'm not thinking about.

I'm reading that electric batteries tend to come with 8yr/100,000 mile warranties, but they will last beyond that just with reduced range, and will 'outlast the life of the car itself' (what does this mean? I'm thinking the car can hopefully last several decades, so am assuming this means the batteries, as far as we know, seem to be very long lasting). I appreciate that the range is reduced as the batteries state of health declines over time, but the impression I'm getting is that this decline is a few percent per year. Although I've seen a graph showing that batteries do sometimes die but it's not been enough of them for us to know how likely/when.

Then I see it's possible to either add a battery extender (€3-6K Muxsan), to increase the range and charging speed, or to replace the battery with a bigger one (€7-16K Muxsan), or find someone selling a bigger battery second hand.

It would be great to know if that sounds about right, or if people have different experiences or would recommend other things. Essentially the question is, would an older EV be a good investment if you're up for paying for battery extension/replacement (and do those costs sound about right), or are there reasons to be hesitant?

Thank you!
2015 eNV batteries will be 24kWh and come with a 3 year warrantee so thats gone already..... I owned one for 6 years and there was no noticeable range loss....BUT.... there real world range is 80 miles max (driven like a granny) to 50 miles worst (mid winter but driven sensibly)
