I'm in Edinburgh, it's been about as bad as it gets tbh¹. I think it actually is worse it's just not reporting!

¹barring now annual once in a decade weather events.

Aye have seen under 2 in the first few miles on a frosty morning - 1 mile from my house to the motorway on-ramp (uphill) can easily be showing 1.8mpkWh as I reach 7Xmph.

My Mk1 managed 1.9mpkWh over 10 miles at 90mph during the early stages of the pandemic lockdown - empty motorways driving to hospital ftw....

 

That's good to know so it's probably not lying to me!

 

Going to bump this. Remembered to note down my usage yesterday:
It was about 0c last night so had the heating, heated seats, rear demister and its not been driven for a couple of days so battery would be stone cold. Near worst case conditions.
Used 5% which is about 2.3kwh according to previous calculations
covered 3.8 miles
giving a calculated efficiency of 1.6kwh/mile car still reckoned on 2.1 so I conclude that it does lie to me on short journeys.
