In the Ohme app. … My Charger / Sleep when Inactive = on
That's funny, mine just looks like this. The settings cog doesn't bring up anything relevant either. Edit - it looks like you have a different charger type. As far as I can see no way to dim the lights on the Home Pro.

Seems a bit odd. Have you updated the ohme pro app recently? Maybe it's the later version software that enables it. Do you not have the option to approve charge or lock charger buttons either?

This is the [Ohme] ‘My Charger’ screen that Ian.taylor is referring to. As you can see, it has a ‘Sleep when inactive’ slider to enable/disable the front lights.

No, mine has none of the three settings options you have there, never has done. I have the up to date app according to Google Play. Maybe the firmware is out of date.

If it’s any help here are the versions I’m on

Ohme Home Pro firmware: v1.32_202212011

Ohme app: 1.28.2 (547)

Apple iOS: 15.8

Or maybe the Android version is missing this feature. I’m on iOS.

Get the ohme pod... Same charger but without the cable - much neater imho.

I've got an Ohme Home charger fitted in February 2021. To my knowledge, it's never had a firmware update (are these done OTA?).

My phone is running Android 14. Ohme app version is 1.29.2.

I've got the "sleep when inactive" switch.

I have an Ohme Home fitted at the start of 2021. I don't have those options in the (Android) app, although I sometimes see them briefly flash up and then vanish again. Ohme don't seem to make any distinction between old and new Ohme Home chargers on their website, but I suspect there are several different hardware versions out in the wild with different capabilities.

My app is android 1.29.2 like billthebutcher but the app doesn't tell me the firmware version (where it should do, it just says "--"). I went out to look on the front of the charger and it says the firmware is 1.03. If that compares with 1.32 as per msej449's post then it's presumably well out of date. I might drop Ohme an email... although it's otherwise working fine so not sure I want to rock the boat!

Supposed to be updated automatically. Try rebooting the Ohme?

Done, doesn't help.
In early 2022 my charger had problems only charging the car at 16A when on a schedule and Ohme solved it by sending a remote update to the charger. I wonder if this somehow disabled further automatic updates and it has missed them since

Edit, back to the topic of the OP, mine looks like this. I think it looks ok when the cable is neatly coiled, which isn't too difficult.
But if you just hook it over randomly it looks a mess. Excuse the drainpipe.

I've just checked my firmware version in the app: V1.32_202307131.

This is the "My Charger" screen in the app:

Anyone else been asked if they want to be in the trial of the next version of the Ohme App? Presumably will be called V.2.xxx if the differences are substantial enough. They say it run early 2024. I wonder if it will iron-out the apparent differences people seem to be reporting above.

Yes, I received the email today and have signed up. Its a shame they didn't say more about what's changed/improved though.
