How long is the stay in the car park, how long were you there and was it on a rapid?

quite a while - 7 hours - it seemed to take a long time to charge. Using the 7KW charger and my ID3 on express.

Frankly I am quite disappointed by the lukewarm response to date from pod point and Tesco. You would think they would care more about heir customers.

Where you a customer of Tesco for 7 hours or just using Pod points free charger?

A lot of car parks have restrictions and if you have to wait for a car to move before you can plug in it can be tight on time.

This is a supermarket car park and the Instavolt app says parking charges may apply, so I doubt that will work.

It just seems so unfair for 20 minutes in a deserted car park whilst charging a car.

My son didn't see the signs so I think I'll try and argue they weren't prominent.

Thanks @grob for your post and for everyone's follow ups. Using your recommended approach, I successfully appealed against a bill sent by Civil enforcement at the Hogs Back hotel, Seale, Tongham, Farnham, GU10 1EX which is run by Surya Hotels. I for one won't be stopping there again or using any of Surya Hotels in the future - what a waste of time!

Well that's pretty clear that you have to pay for parking. If you get a parking fine now sure how you would get out of paying it.
