My LR is a year old this weekend, I got mine at £46,990 just days before the grant was shifted

 

Similar here, albeit end March. Abs 1k more for blue. I was very close to delaying

Wow., our Model 3 LR is only just over 3 months old and we only paid £52k with 19" Sport wheels, white interior and Midnight Silver paint, that is now £55700!! Glad we didnt wait and ordered last September.

Isn't it amazing that we can say 'only paid 52K' for a small saloon car. The whole world has gone mad with prices for everything but cars and housing in the Uk seem to be astronomical.

 

Model Y unchanged so looking like a better deal compared to LR 3

 

Surprised why the LFP model has gone up even though they don't use Nickel or Cobalt, the two elements which has increased in price due to sanctions. Perhaps, Tesla has other cost increase or think they can get away with this.

 

Never confuse cost with price.

 

Had our RWD 2 days, it's now £3k more expensive than when we ordered!😳

 

I assume this is the model 3? Funny that before it was launched it was being touted as the “affordable Tesla”. I can afford it, but I can’t justify that sort of money on a saloon car.

 

Most people dont buy them though, my Leased model 3 is cheaper than some of the other EV leases i have been seeing on here lately.
The new Nissan Ariya starts at 42k, i know which of the two i would rather be driving.

Its a shame i suppose that the Model 3 is just so damn good that they can benefit from exceptional demand and keep the price up without resorting to doing deals to meet sales targets like most others.

Nissan are having a laugh, like the Leaf they will be discounting that puppy in no time.

i am amazed Tesla can sell all they make at full asking price, must be doing something right.

 

I think the recent fuel price rises are a wake up call.

Plus most of the general public think only Tesla make fully electric cars. I know because they ask me if my Ioniq is fully electric and are amazed by the answer.

 

He was convinced the Leaf was a Hybrid as mentioned above he thought Tesla was the only company making pure electric and that they were all rubbish.

I know this is Tesla but has anyone else spotted the email from Cupra the price of the Born is being increased before its even is available.

Going up £980 on April 1st to £34,715

Was that always planned or a case of im sure we can make people pay an extra grand and we'll still have a queue of people chucking money at it.

 

At least with Tesla once you have ordered and paid you £100 order fee, your purchase price is locked in, even if it now takes 9 months for delivery. some lucky people who ordered in February before the last round of price rises.. We paid £52k for our Model £ LR on delivery in December, same spec now has jumped in price 3 times since we ordered in September and will cost new buyers £58700 now, £6700 increase for just 6 months. Bodes well for our second hand selling price, we could sell it now for £54k easily.

 

I wasn't a fan of the Aero look either but you get used to it. I believe it adds approximately 5% of range so worth putting them on if you ever do a long road troop but for day to day driving it'll be fine without the aero caps. Congrats on the purchase by the way. Got the midnight silver myself and it is awesome

FFS i got it to be "Different", might has well just got white now and saved myself a thousand quid! Common as muck that colour.
