Hopefully some owners can answer these:

1) Is there an option for Satellite view on Google Maps?

2) Can you turn off lane keep assist permanently OFF? As in, it doesn't reset back to ON each time you lock and restart the car. If not, can the audio warning be lowered to zero permanently?

3) Does the car have Auto hold? And does the setting stick as in does it stay ON after locking and restarting the car?

4) Does the car remember the previous drive mode, e.g. ECO or PERSO or does it reset to normal everytime?

5) Can you set up user profiles to set up se preferences? Maybe then 2,3 &4 maybe be tied to a user profile which can be saved to a key?

6) As the car doesn't have One Pedal mode, does it mean to bring the car to a stop you always have to be using the friction brakes?

7) For those who have made a cash/outright purchase, do you know the cost of a service plan? Either 3 or 5 years

These are for the EU / LHD version, but probably most of it hold for UK as well. I just post here if people from other countries come here looking for same questions, as there seem to be limited number of forums where you can find information in universal language like english.

1) Not yet (should be doable as I believe Polestar already has it on AAOS), but in Carplay Google maps you can get satellite view.

2) There is a separate button for it and it does remember the setting.

3) Yes and yes.

4) Yes.

5) Yes but you have to change them manually and the car has to be stationary, which I found is too much to digest for other family members, so all just use my profile. Would be better if there was auto recognition tied to phone used or other easy mechanism.

6) Yes.

7) You can find the available service plans from local Renault web site, however in UK seems you first need the car register number to get them (maybe you can stalk some test drive car and get the register number to see the price, used that tactic myself to plan for insurance price). You'll need to know the annual mileage as well to get the right price.

On other forums I moderated on, we could place things like the manuals and other useful pieces of information at the top of the forum as stickies.

Don't know how this forum works and I certainly don't want to be actively involved again, I lost 8 years of my life as a Moderator/Admin

8) in the map view (dash), can you see cruise settings - mode/speed/distance

9) Does having 3 stalks on right affect usability, e.g. hitting indicators instead of gear lever?

10) Any irritating noise/rattles from loose fittings (I'm OCD about this)

11) does the rear camera gets dirty very quickly/after each drive?

12) Same Q re boot lid as above?

13) Can you sign in a different account on YouTube Music v the account you used to set up Google Automotive?

Thanks

8. Haven't looked at that.
9. Because I had a loan Renault, I'm used to it and no not really.
10. None.
11. Not noticed a problem. Not difficult to clean it though.
12. Yes, but then I've been driving in some poor conditions recently. Plus it's been washed and waxed yesterday.
13. Not got that far with any of the tech yet. My phone works, Android auto works,I get Waze, that's all I'm interested in from a driving perspective.

8) You can see all relevant cruise info from what I can recall. It's just in more "compact" format.

9) Initially yes a couple of times, but after got used to it, don't recall it being an issue.

10) Don't recall any, but not OCD about this and there may some cars that rattle more than others. That said this car is one of the most solid drives I've experienced so far even in harsh winter conditions where the road conditions can be very bad due to ice ridges etc.

11) Sadly you should be prepared to clean the camera when the conditions are such that it gets dirty or blocked by snow. Usually wipe with a finger or glove is enough. Same goes for parking sensors, they can get covered in snow in winter.

12) It gathers snow at least. Be prepared to clean the boot lid area and search for the button. Hasn't created any real issues so far.

13) Don't use Youtube music any more (80% of family phones are Apple) but if it's like any other app it will need the account to activate subscription.

With regards to one pedal driving when its in adaptive cruise control it does come to an automatic stop in stop start traffic which is pretty cool.

Sometimes I accidentally turn off my adaptive main beam which then defaults to high beam which upsets other drivers, been flashed a couple of times. Think I’m accidentally pushing the button on the end of the stalk.

Most annoying thing about the car is scheduled charging, have to plug in then put car to sleep otherwise I get the red rectangle of death. This might turn out to be a fault or ‘feature’ which will need to be fixed by Renault. I assume if you use a smart charger you can probably use the smart charger scheduling to get around this problem but it’s bloody annoying!

Didn’t have any complaints from my parents sat in the back apart from it being noisy.

You get used to the dark head liner very quickly, only time I noticed it was when I jumped back in the Zoe after the test drive and noticed how bright it is in the Zoe, I guess I prefer it darker 🙂

Regarding adaptive headlights. I found they are tuned so that there should be minimal disturbance to other drivers. Sometimes even annoyingly so. I found even when there is a small glimpse of the backlights of another car far away it won't activate and it leaves quite a big gap between. However the spread of the short distance lights is quite nice at least in snow. Mine are quite dirty and even then they provide very good lighting. And the long beam seems to reach quite far indeed. If it's snowing it is so powerful you may get dazzled by the flakes, so it's a bit of a mix whether to keep it on or not.

To me the interior is bright.
The Mokka was proper black so the 1980s grey suit patern dash and seats along with a not very dark set of floor mats seem bright by contrast.
The headlining is bright compared to the Mokka.
I guess it's what you have been used to that makes it seem dark or bright but really it's neither.

Regarding the adaptive headlights and Auto on. These, shut down much earlier than the Audi Matrix LEDs, I guess I was spoilt by those.

I can't remember a car I've had in the last 12 years or so that hasn't been all black inside, so I'm used to it. My Alfas, Merc & Range Rovers all had glass roof, so that helped.
