Visit ioniqforum.com go to Ioniq 2017-2022 section, thread called Coolant Warning. It's long, suggest start at end to get latest info, then work back!

Adam, have you found a service fix for this? I also have a 2020 Kona EV Limited, here in the states, with the same issue. My dealer doesn’t know what the fix is and has not offered to fix it.
There's a long thread about this here, Ioniq 38 is pretty-well identical to Kona 39. Includes pics of the special kit H supply to do the job properly. Coolant Warning

BSC-2 is a recent invention. Only explanation I can suggest is maybe the Konas of that era never had heat-pumps fitted? But I can't believe that! Kona 39 virtually identical to Ioniq 38. I think H have screwed up a bit!

My Sept 2018 build has a HP and it's an Irish EU spec with green (now pink) coolant.
Hmm, surely the green/pink flavours of coolant are not the low-conductivity stuff? Was it like that when new?
I think you might have the wrong stuff in, unless H went for standard ethylene-glycol stuff deliberately in some markets? But you shouldn't have the Refill Coolant issue, as it's not BSC-1 as far as I can see.

There's a lot of info in google about these low-conductivity coolants, Hyundai, etc, could be worth investigating.

Yup that pic of solid parts shows the crystallisation that's taking place with the old BSC-1. Question is, did the gge use the special new Hyundai kit to do the flushing with? There's a complicated sequence of valves etc that have to be operated in a special order, it all takes a few hours to do properly. If they did not use the new kit, there's every chance the old crystallisation rubbish is still inside the battery/pipes etc.

To understand the full history of what's happened, you need to read this thread. Similar-looking forum to this one, but far more detailed & specific. It's a long thread, you may want to jump to the end & read backwards!

There are some pics i it of the special kit, you may want to print these off & take them to your gge, and ask them to prove to you that they have this. I suspect it's going to be rather hard to do the flushing properly without this; if it was easy, Hyundai wouldn't have had to design & make this item!
