Does anyone know or has got their hands on the Renault V2L adapter. Can't find a part number anywhere. Wanting to make a wiring diagram for the V2L so we can start selling them. I know a few car deliveries have happened in Europe so surely must be a few out in the wild already.

I’m asking my local Renault / Alpine dealer if they’re going to offer them for the A290.

Presumably there must be some sort of standard for this - as per CCS etc.?

As said, I don’t think Renault UK have set pricing on this yet. But looks like some European countries have…

I have been in contact with French and German dealerships, they have no ETA on the part. Also the quotes I received ranged from EUR 200 to 600 (No jokes). I don't really want to pay them and then wait 3 months... I also managed to book a test drive at the Watford dealership, they have the press car coming for 1 day on the 19th Feb. I have a suspicion that it's in the boot of that car As a side, my Honda E may very well be in danger 🤣

Ryanair will fly you to Budapest for under £20..😎😅

I still don't really see the benefit of V2L, it seems to me something that you'll make the best effort to use a few times with some random application to prove to yourself it is genuinely useful and then never use again.

It just seems to be a a feature, like auto parking, which is added to a car at minimal cost to the manufacturer to up the amount of features it has to make it appear better value to the consumer.

Tend to agree. But some folks feel the need to boil a kettle for a cuppa in the wilds of the kingdom 😅

On the training event they were trying their best to sell it to us; using an air fryer, coffee machine, pumping up an air bed, no one was convinced and TBH I don't even think the "trainers" were too!

😂 V2L for a tyre inflator seems a bit daft, trailing a mains cord around the car. Portable rechargeable ones are easy, small and pretty cheap. Coffee machine? Maybe in the outback. Air fryer. Blimey. Loads of stuff being carted around. Where does the kitchen sink fit 😂

I no longer wish to have anything to do with Tesla, so an R5 or an Alpine seems like a bright, cheery breath of fresh air 😂

Pricing in the UK seems pretty competitive to be fair. I have no idea what it is in its home country.
