Renault Zoe r90 ZE40 2018 for a 90 mile Commute?

I currently am working an average of 4 days a week that requires a 90 mile commute. There is free charging at work where I am for approximately 7-8 hours. Will this be sufficient to do this commute with the Renault ZOE 2018 40kw r90?

I live in a rented property so I would not invest in a home charger. However, I could if necessary go through a window to the wall plug as we have a driveway that backs on to our kitchen. Also live opposite a Supermarket with EV charging (Not free) Would this version of a Zoe be suitable for this type of situation? The commute is around 85 percent motorway (m25) so I am also worried about deterioration of the battery on the motorway over the 4 years in which I would finance the car- Looking to save on fuel and improve my carbon footprint.

Thanks.

Worst I saw on an R90 was 135 miles range and that was caning it in headwinds at 70mph when it was about 5-8c outside.

The R90 and R110 have no DC rapid charging so if you find you can't do the trip it might be an arse.

Don't rely on the free workplace charging to last forever either. You'll need a plan B if the work place charging isn't available.

Lack of home charging is probably more of an issue. If you have street parking there are companies like Connected Kerb that do add street charging facilities. You could probably cheat and organise a cable gully so you could stay parked on your drive and still charge the Zoe if you had a long enough lead.

If you are planning to stay in your current rented place for more than about 2 years it's worth asking the Landlord about whether you can have a charger installed. Some used cars do come with a free charger install and I think there is grant money potentially too so it might cost nothing to do unless the electrics are a disaster.

I agree should be totally fine if 90 mile round commute, still possible if 90 miles each way, just needs some planning with charging ensuring work charger available for example.
If you have home socket charging as back up, should be just fine.
I have a 2017 R90, 40kWH , lowest range Ive had in winter is about 138 miles with full heater, B road driving 50-60 mph , best in summer around 185-195.
I dont worry about battery degradation , mine was 93% when bought 2 years ago at 18k miles , still showing 93% at 37k miles, degradation on Zoes is very low, better than others. We plan to keep Zoe as long as we can, running costs are negligible, so easy , charge and go.....
I would recommend Cleevely Mobil EV servicing half costs of Renault and better , still maintains warranty . In reality there is little to do just brakes tyres that wear , pollen filter.... rest of servicing is 'checks' . Hope this helps

Just to add , that my R90 doesn't have rapid charging , but for most journeys I do its fine. On any rare longer trips I just make use of the faster 22kWH AC chargers , gives me around 100 miles in an hour charging. Some real good bargains around now , I bought at time of high prices, but prices dropped significantly and its a buyers market for Zoes as Zoe being discontinued and newer models more fashionable.
