Tesla Model 3 or MG4?

That's a very good price for a 1-year old EV.... Why is it so cheap? I haven't seen any MG4 for that price....
Maybe because it’s the pre-facelift Fugly version. They’re also a bit plasticky inside in the Excite trim. They updated the nose to make it more appealing and the Exclusive version is a bit more pleasant inside.
It’s also November… private buyers are thin on the ground this time of year, deals to be done and you can get a used older M3 for a few grand more which may be more attractive for used buyers.
Although as the only estate Bev really available you’d guess there should be a good niche for the MG5.

There’s plenty of M3’s (typically white) in London running about as Ubers and minicabs variously. Also Kia e-Niro seem popular as cabs, had a few journeys in them and the drivers liked them.

Had an Ioniq 5 minicab journey in Woodbridge a few months ago. Again driver happy with the car but unhappy with how long the windscreen replacement was taking. Otherwise all good.

Not had an MG minicab journey yet. But I had seen a few silver MG5’s about in London with the sticker in the back window, so they are on active duty in the capital.
We know a family with an Ioniq5. It was off the road for a while earlier this year after a potholed tyre. Apparently there were none of the correct size and rating tyres left in the country for a week or so and they had to wait for more to be imported.

Crikey. For a tyre!!

What weird size are they? No offence to owners but we’re not exactly talking a McLaren F1 or La Ferrari territory when it comes to bespoke rubber 🤣
I was curious but I didn’t dig to deep it was clearly a sore point. Seemed like the combination of size and load rating was the problem making the tyres unusual and not so many Ioniq5s on the road to begin with this year… Then a UK winter happened where craters opened up in the roads all over the place and suddenly there was a unexpected shortage.
