Hi All, This is dynamique intens 2014 model with leased original traction battery. 8 years, so range has dropped significantly.
My question - Is this a good way of finding the battery SOH (state of health)?
Is my understanding correct? Or is there more to it? I know renault will not calculate it this way, but should this method give a good indication of the battery SOH?
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance

My question - Is this a good way of finding the battery SOH (state of health)?
I trickle charge the battery to 100%
Then I reset the onboard range computer (using break accelerator reset trick)
Then I see the new range is around 90 miles
I believe the very original ideal range stated by renault for this model is 130 miles
Then I divide 90/130. This gives me 69%
Does this mean my battery SOH is 69%?
I believe if this procedure was performed when this zoe was manufactured it would be 130/130 = 100% SOHIs my understanding correct? Or is there more to it? I know renault will not calculate it this way, but should this method give a good indication of the battery SOH?
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance
